Community Director

Community Directors (5), as members of the Office Residence Life and part of the Campus Living Thematic Area, are responsible for assisting professional and student staff in developing a community within an assigned residential area.

Under the supervision of an Area Director, Community Directors actively engage with students and staff to build positive communities within their residential area of oversight, promote learning initiatives as a part of the department's education plan, and support and empower students through their overall college experience.

Housing Assistant

Housing Assistants, as members of the Office Residence Life and part of the Campus Living Thematic Area, are responsible for assisting the Student Support Coordinator in managing the Fraternity and Sorority residnetial spaces. Housing Assistants generally serve as a resource, referral, and communication agent; serve as a liaison to house residents and chapters to address facilities-related needs and concerns. They will also educate residents about safety/security measures and university and Residence Life policies and procedures; attend chapter meetings as needed.

The application for the 2025-2026 school year is currently open and we are actively seeking to hire 1-2 staff members for Spring 2026. You can find this application under the Staff Selection (Hourly Postions) tab.

Facilities Assistants & Community Development Assistants

The application for the 2026-27 school year will open after Spring Break! You can find this application under the Hourly Staff Selection tab. The priority deadline is March 2026. Our office will continue to review applications after the deadline.

If you are interested in working for our office in the summer, please apply for an hourly postion. The Summer RA position is only available to current and newly hired RAs. Summer Facilities and Community Development Assistants is open to all students and provides summer housing.
